This Juvederm Voluma filler type is made with lidocaine, and it’s approved to restore age-related volume on the cheeks. Also known as Voluma for cheeks, it is a HA or hyaluronic acid filler that’s made of sugars occurring naturally in your skin.
Although these fillers do not have any downtime, there are still risks to using them, and you should ensure to find a board-certified dermatologist to perform the procedures.
They are contraindicated for breastfeeding and pregnant women. Additionally, this is not a recommended procedure for anyone taking blood thinners or drugs that work as thinners, including supplements and aspirin.
